ABOUT THE CRYSTALLINE

This webpage is the primary resource for the crystalline, with links to pages on and off this website that explain or discuss the crystalline and/or include examples of crystallines. Denis Garrison originated the crystalline concept.

The "crystalline" two-line haiku is a seventeen syllable couplet that assimilates the Japanese haiku tradition into the English poetic tradition.
A primary concern for the crystalline is the euphony of the verse.
