scent of seaweed ...
seeking a good-luck stone
with one dark ring

small songbirds
nest in the carport
      end of a journey

big birthday
instead of perfume
I smell of Ben-Gay

river rock
surrounds the water sculpture
spreading circles

abstract sumi-e
    fingers stroke
          the image
