clearing sky—
moon
on the roadway

heat wave—
flags folded
against their poles

summer sunset
alone on the beach—
driftwood

in summer twilight
ducks in formation—
breaking waves

waves at night—
the moon
through clouds

facing the river
three empty deck chairs—
thunder!
