The Cinquain

Cinquains by Darrell Byrd
slow hands
soft candlelight
Mozart and sweet red wine
moist lips touch my ear whispering
yes now
our paths
from distant shores
through fair and stormy years
meet and we stroll down sunny glen
at last
conch shells
over the door
cigar butts on the floor
some key lime pie before I die
