Submission Guidelines

Ku Nouveau has been incorporated into Haiku Harvest.

EDITORIAL POLICY
Ku Nouveau seeks ku in the form and content described on the ABOUT KU page. If you have not read those guidelines, please click here and read them now. We accept submissions for Ku Nouveau on a continuous flow basis and will post the selected poems as soon as they are chosen. They will remain posted throughout the period of the issue and will then be archived online with that issue.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an edited ezine. We DO NOT publish everything that is submitted to us. We reserve the right to exercise editorial discretion in ALL cases. If, for any reason, you cannot cope with rejection, better not to make submissions. We use only a portion of the submissions that we receive. There are plenty of other websites which are unedited and where you can post your poems with no editorial interference if that is what you seek. When we do reject a poem or poems, we may do so with a short (and, we hope, gentle) note; however, we generally do comment about the poetry because we are trying to develop these poetic forms and we are all learning together. Even when we accept a poem, we may suggest some editorial revisions, for the same reason.

HOW TO SUBMIT FOR KU NOUVEAU
You may submit up to twelve ku at one time. Make your submission by sending your poems in to Ku Nouveau in the body of an email. (There is no set limit on the number of poems from one poet which we will publish in a single issue; just hold each submission to twelve at a time, please. Because we are developing new forms, we do not want to arbitrarily limit the number publishable in an issue.)

WHAT TO SUBMIT
Ku Nouveau needs the following information: 1. Your name. 2. Your country. 3. Your email address. 4. Your personal website URL (entirely optional). 5. The type of ku you are submitting. 6. The submission itself - one to twelve ku. 7. Tell us whether you are younger or older than 16 years of age, so that we may comply with the U.S.A. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (the COPPA applies to children under 13; our age limit is 16 as a matter of editorial policy).

NOTE: You must be 16 or older to submit poetry to Ku Nouveau. If you are under 16, EXIT NOW !

THERE IS NO PAYMENT FOR CONTRIBUTORS
Ku Nouveau is solely an online webzine and not a print publication. There will be no payment of any kind for accepted submissions for current and future issues of Ku Nouveau.
