with the weight of snow

from tree to tree
the dark flight of sparrows
spring fever

the scent of flowers
from my open window
spring cleaning

this greening land
your skin brushing my skin
once again

pulse of new life
a butterfly rests briefly
on a marigold

quiet afternoon
my animals circled around
each other

fullness of time~
your hand brushing the length
of my hair

clear lake water~
thoughts of you rising
to the surface

that dream again
of losing my way
mid-life crisis

the quiet hum
of the aquarium
afternoon love

family pictures
feeling some distant grief
