wild geese scream
far away in the sky
inside, a sick-bed

the house threshold is
covered up by wrinkled leaves—
father is at death's door

from the wet small branch
a bird flies off to the sky—
rain drops behind it

moon drops into river—
silverly water lily
in a deep sleep

gloomy sky
hung over waste land—
ravens here and there

but I know all her:
"A coo, a boo, a coo ...!"

Animals

carried by the flow
through the tin gutter
a shiftless ant

sleepless night—
city lights are passing away
through the train window

a flock of geese slowly comes
into the water

the second this week
autumn rain

is covered with fallen leaves—
late Danube autumn
