in and out
of black clouds
a fighter jet

 

APRIL
Flowers

thirsty
daffodils cup
to spring clouds

 

MAY
Land

after spring rains
the scent of fresh pine
a back road home

 

JUNE
New Life

from the magnolia
a grandson's first
swing

 

JULY
Animals

summer morning
vegetables in the garden
nibbled

 

AUGUST
Time

tangled in garlic
grandfather's watch
still ticks

 

SEPTEMBER
Water

forever
an ocean of sun light sparkles
diamonds

 

OCTOBER
Loss

indian summer
tears wash out to sea
with a toy sail boat

 

NOVEMBER
Aquatic Life

through thick ice
his fish hook dangles
a wishing well
