Sky

          mild January     driving rain
walking umbrellas     where's winter snow?

 

FEBRUARY
Death

moss among dead weeds
the year winter was cancelled;
global warming knell

 

MARCH
Flight

beauty finds me home         and i grow wings

 

APRIL
Flowers

city-stained building
and on a windowsill
red geraniums

 

MAY
Land

Mother's day
we stroll a dimpled lawn:
their childhood footprints

 

JUNE
New Life

late bloomers
chirping inside our house walls
air-vent nest

 

JULY
Animals

catsup on the desk
the four take turns to visit
my daughter's bluefish

 

AUGUST
Time

holy encounter
a space within my space
that is endless

 

SEPTEMBER
Water

your sense of humour
my delight and wealth
river sounds

 

OCTOBER
Loss

grandpa's last breath
two months before his son's
stained glass leaves fall

 

NOVEMBER
Aquatic Life

pleasure river
ocean force
love bond

 

DECEMBER
Family

my mother
great grandchildren at her feet
Christmas Eve back home
