Filmmaker Statement

Filmmaker Michael Accorsi produces cinematic films as owner of Accorsi Studios.  Michael's great grandparents: Joseph Nardi and Gusipena Nardi (Fastelli) and Robert Accorsi and Marie Accorsi (Pini) emigrated to the United States in 1914 and settled in Hershey along with many Italians to build a new life.  Michael’s grandfather Ernest Accorsi, Sr. worked for the Hershey Company, helped create the Hershey Rose Garden, then eventually opened Triple Distributors Beer Distributor on Areba Avenue. Michael’s father Ernie Accorsi, Sr. was a long-time executive in the National Football League as General Manager of the Baltimore Colts, Cleveland Browns, and New York Giants.
