Ever since I started dating, I have imagined the ideal place in the world is the Bed, right at the moment after two people have had sex. It is a blissful state where we feel vulnerable, excited and liberated. 9BED(s) was a product of this dream, turned into a quirky comedy about my generation. Couples from all over Europe and sometimes beyond, meet in this large Bed that exists in every home all over the world. I tried to create a portrait of our similarities throughout Europe. The Bed is playful and dramatic, romantic, lonely and cynical. In it we all speak the same language.
