Filmmaker Statement

I've always been festinated by the sc-fi genre, but being in Nigeria where it's something completely out of touch. It's really hard to express such form of art. I decided to close the gap with "Amina". Amina is Sci-fi a story that mirrors the battles between belief systems by using a lot of symbolism. It shows that no matter how much we try we can't run away from our human nature. It's a story I hold dear to my heart and really hope it leaves a lasting impression on the people who watch it.
