Filmmaker Statement

The feeling of loss is universal and everlasting. People understand grief, no matter the language they speak. There is an ancient myth in Greece, about the necromancers, who claimed they could achieve some reconnection with your deceased loved ones, for one last time. What if that myth survived today? What if there were such mediators who could help with that encounter? These are the 'bandogs', but the details surrounding their exact practice and efficiency are rather vague. This film explores the human need to reconnect with our precious one and imagines the ways these bandogs could help... or maybe not help in the way we would expect.
