Filmmaker Statement

As my knowledge grew, so did my desire to tell stories that resonated with real-life issues. The seed of my first short film, "Beauty Boxed," was planted after six months of contemplation and countless discussions with friends who became an integral part of this creative process. The concept blossomed into a narrative that tackled the pressing social issues of domestic violence and child marriage—a raw, unfiltered take on the world around us. The production phase was a whirlwind, marked by challenges that tested both my creativity and leadership. Managing a big team of individuals on a tight budget and an even tighter schedule was a lesson in determination. Post-production was a journey of its own, as I meticulously stitched together each frame to create a narrative that spoke volumes beyond the screen. "Beauty Boxed" is more than just a film — it's a testament to dedication, resilience, and the power of storytelling. This project has left an indelible mark on my journey, propel.
