Filmmaker Statement

I'm interested in ordinary people in extraordinary situations. Working class stories from a Northern (England) perspective. I like to create work that has magical realism at its core. The film tackles a complex subject and acts as a reminder to us all not to just carry on as we have before. It's a bold, edgy and urgent film about toxic masculinity and the damage we pass on to the next generation.
