Filmmaker Statement

This film had a quiet instigation. I was keen to explore a delicate, silent style of storytelling in response to a loud and chaotic world. A cinematic tale of escapism from the mundanity and the grind of life is something that we can all resonate with. Choreographed by the incredible Emma Farnell- Watson (Hofesh Shechter Company), with music composed by Jonny Colgan, and Cinematography by David Proctor (Black Beauty for Disney). This film reflects on the Jungian idea that the interior is mirrored in the exterior, and that finding peace in the inside world can bring about serenity in the outside world. This understanding has the power to radically transform our sense of peace in an ever more chaotic world.
