BURDER is a labor of love. I am a magazine cartoonist for The New Yorker and an animation writer and director for television, but I animated BURDER without any support or outside help of any kind. It was made for zero budget; I drew every frame of it, by hand, alone, and it took me a full year. The making of it brightened my past year immensely, and I hope it brings you the same kind of lift. It is a celebration of humor for humor's sake, but I took it very seriously. I spared no effort in making it as frenzied and audacious as possible.
