Filmmaker Statement

Their honestly isn't too deep of a back story here. I had a conversation a couple months back with some friends about how we all had similar stressful experiences as kids being left alone by a parent at the checkout line in the grocery store. I was surprised to find out this was such a universal experience. I decided to create a short that made me feel how we all felt in those times we were left alone. I have never tried to write or direct anything before but have wanted to for awhile. This seemed like a good test project to see if I have the base level of skill to get good at this in the future.
