Filmmaker Statement

Claude Mathey is a family friend. I'm a young documentarist and newbie in animation. In my work, i'm seeking to look into the process of artistic creation : why human beeing is the animal artist ? In the person of Claude Mathey i found a sensitive way of abording art. It was for her not question but something vital. In that sence, i find that act very pure 'cause if there is many people looking for beeing an artist for the fame there is something in art wich is esencialy not compatible with that. Art isn't good looking, art is the very expression of the unspeakable. At least, it is my point of view.
