This film explores the delicate dynamics of father-son relationships, focusing on the way secrets, and unspoken emotions shape family bonds. At its core, it’s a story about vulnerability and lack of open communication in a family, the two themes that resonate deeply with me. As someone who has observed the intricate relationship between expectations and real human connection, I wanted to create a narrative that delves into how we often hide parts of ourselves—sometimes only to realize that the act of hiding creates even greater distance. Harvey’s struggle to conceal the truth about the fight mirrors the larger emotional barriers we often build around our identities. The father's pursuit of the truth unravel long-buried emotions about their own lives. It turns into a transformative journey where both father and son finally confront their flaws, fears, and unspoken needs, leading them to a new understanding of each other’s personalities and complexities of their love towards each other.
