The film was conceived through wanting to explore the stresses of sharing your relationship with an online adult audience, which also happens to be the platform for your small business. Where do your online personas end and your everyday life begin? In the background of the film, I wanted to nod at the characters coming from working-class backgrounds, giving them very little opportunity to earn the kind of money that online adult platforms can offer dedicated users. The film poses the question, what is the most important currency in our characters' lives, love or money?
