A young man struggling with O.C.D. white-knuckles his way through a Grindr date and makes a mess of things.
I didn't touch another human being for more than a year because of Covid. And I started thinking about what that does to someone - mentally, emotionally, and physically - and how even before the pandemic, connecting with people was becoming harder and harder. You can log onto Grindr and find out how many feet away a guy is, what every inch of his body looks like, and yet feel more and more isolated. Mental health is another invisible barrier that can prevent us from making connections, especially in the LGBTQ community, and I wanted to explore the ways in which we can help each other overcome that.
