Filmmaker Statement

Hi! My name is Cameron Hinkle, the writer, editor and director of my short film DEVILISH, and let me just say that filmmaking for me at least has been a passion and dream of mine since I was a little kid growing up. Film has always been a gateway and escape for me personally and with this short horror film, I wanted to craft a really suspenseful horror/thriller around a classic childhood fear of a basement, a location in a home that has a lot of background in horror based thoughts. My friend and I worked incredibly hard on this short horror film, and I am proud and so grateful to be releasing it to the public! And I hope you all enjoy it just as much as we enjoyed making it!
