'Do you see?' is an intimate, autobiographical project composed of iPhone and DSLR footage spanning the past 5 years — across the Bay Area, Nashville, St. Louis, Berlin, and Japan. Its inception began with the discovery of a cassette tape. Side A: Audio of Sarah reading for the first time in 1996. Side B: Audio of Sarah as a teenager in 2003 navigating depression. The modern clips threaded with Sarah's past voices weave together a dream-like collage. 'Do you see?' is an investigation into the self — through the observation of surrounding characters.
