Filmmaker Statement

"Eyestring" examines how solitude in a city like Los Angeles can push someone into a dark loneliness, and how someone can search for a way out through mysterious signs or questionable sources. It's also about how we see ourselves reflected in other people and how the uncertainty that generates can lead to dangerous choices. "Eyestring" is a piece with visceral body horror told through a surreal, psychological lens which will hopefully leave the viewer feeling profoundly haunted.
