Filmmaker Statement

This short story offers my interpretation of the famous Chinese mythology, "the red string of fate." I've restructured the narrative to reflect my belief that the idea of red strings binding us to our fate might not be entirely accurate. What if someone clings so strongly to this belief that they stay in situations even when it's not beneficial for them? Additionally, I aim to illustrate the patriarchal challenges and how they can impact individuals.
