Filmmaker Statement

Marriage is a lifelong commitment, well ideally that is the goal of it at least. But what happens when one person is holding onto a deep secret, they are afraid to tell their partner in fear of losing them before they can say their I do’s. In my own personal life, I am soon to be married and the thought of what would be something that my fiancé could tell me that would make me think twice? Is there even anything that would hinder my love for her in making that final decision? My vision for this film is to put that into question in a comedic way. The characters Bryan and his Fiancé, Vivica are having a dinner date and the truth of her being an assassin has been eating at her as the wedding day soon approaches. Having her sit and internalize on the decision on if she should tell him or not is something I aimed to capture in various mid and close up camera shots. The more neutral color tone and scheme was to keep the audience focused on the characters and their reactions to one an
