Filmmaker Statement

A camera kills people... Laura is a photographer, she is fascinated by WWII. She is preparing her own exhibition about time and death. One day, a camera, a Leica, is dropped on her doorstep. Mysteriously. Her life changes suddenly and dramatically. She becomes linked to the past. The People she shoots with her camera are deadly burnt or choke to death, like in the Nazi camps. I wrote the screenplay of the feature film, and in France I won an award for the best screenplay, deliver by the industry. With the short, I wanted to explore the concept with a short movie, no budget. No crew. Just me. And I did it just to explore the narrative way. I made another one, with low budget to explore the concept. My goal is to collect the budget to make the feature film.
