Gravity

With this film, I wanted to tell a story about the boundless, helpless love that a parent can have for a child that can sometimes be blinding and pull them in the wrong directions. This film came about when I first visited the location and saw this mural of a girl staring at the water. I began to ponder what the story behind that image was, and then started to think about the many murals that could've been, the many stories that could've happened at that beach at a different place and different time. Gravity is my vision of one of these thousands of stories, and the film and the mural at the end of the film is our glimpse into another reality.
