Filmmaker Statement

Some things you try the hardest to avoid are the easiest to attract. I believed I was unable to break this rule I had been taught, until having a conversation with my sister. She said “if the leg of a table is broken, it has to be built back up, but the person that broke the table never lost a leg.” Then she reminded me that regardless of the people I was running to or from, I had been there for her all along, and she for me.
