Filmmaker Statement

This little film began with big hopes. Due to a string of extended lockdowns, we had to decide whether to pivot or let it go. While we had initially secured a beautiful cabin location in the woods to bring the magic and mystery of this story to life, we ended up having one indoor shoot - which was originally planned as our B shoot - a visual reference we only wanted to allude to vaguely throughout the film. Alas, it became our only shoot and we decided to cut something together with what we had to celebrate the work that had been done.
