Filmmaker Statement

I really just wanted to express a visual idea and show how I feel right now through the medium of film and hopefully have people engage in experimental storytelling. I find it really hard to follow through with ideas a lot of the time so it was almost a challenge to finish something and put it out. Having not gone to film school I’m trying to find new approaches towards getting into the film industry and while also actually getting films to people. Especially with the internet I hate the idea of submitting a film to a festival and then no-one actually gets to see the film, if not for like a couple of months. I feel like film should be for the people. I think people want to see films by independent filmmakers and people just want to know that it’s possible to make stuff. I know I feel inspired by people actually finishing anything.
