Filmmaker Statement

As a director, I’m drawn to intimate moments and character-driven stories that explore what it means to feel truly human. I’m less interested in spectacle and more compelled by quiet tension—the pauses, the glances, the unspoken weight between words. With Howard, I wanted to create a story that lives in those spaces. Set in a near-future world shaped by automation, it’s ultimately a film about connection, identity, and resilience. My goal wasn’t to explain the technology, but to let it recede—so what’s left is the emotional core of two strangers finding meaning in each other. I strive to make films that feel lived-in and emotionally honest, where even the smallest moment can carry weight.
