Howard is a debut horror short that channels my insecurities both as a first-time filmmaker and as a creative mind struggling with the eternal conflict between art and money. And while it is ostensibly about "the creative life," from a broader perspective, I hope the short resonates with audiences who share my skepticism about the role of technology and tech culture in how we live and experience art. (I also hope it gives people a good laugh!)
