Drew Phillips attended the University of Southern California for Screenwriting and studied under Emmy award winning writer Lance Gentile (ER). He continued to Temple University in Philadelphia for Directing. Drew has worked at Illumination Entertainment (Minions, Despicable Me), Sentinel Pictures under producer Adam Brawer (Match), and Permut Presentations under producer David Permut (Face/Off, Hacksaw Ridge). His previous film, Badland (2018), won numerous awards both domestically and internationally. His most recent credit includes a costar role on Paramount + TV series, Mayor of Kingstown starring Jeremy Renner. He’s a nerd at heart and brings an Xbox with him when he visits family.
