Filmmaker Statement

I chose to direct, In The Heat film because in today's fast paced world, humans are running behind socially and in personal life while investing a lot of time and energy on work. Being an international student living abroad, sometimes I find myself disconnected to my social life and family due to work and study. The story truly fascinates me when I feel connected at some point which helps me demonstrate my ability in screenplay and direction. Being inspired by unconventional storytelling, this film follows the direction of an open ending for the audience.
