Filmmaker Statement

As a child I was always afraid of monsters hiding in my closet or under my bed. Every strange noise in the dark gave me chills. Sometimes It really looked like someone was standing in the dark…looking at me sleeping My parents always told me, that the noises had natural causes. Old, creaking wood and rats in the walls. As an adult I realized, there was never a monster in my room. Just my imagination playing around with me. The dark shadow in my corner? Just a chair. The strange noises? Just Wood Creaking And Rats. Like my parents said… But what if children can see things that we can't see? What if the chair actually turns into a monster as soon as you turn off the light?…
