I wanted to explore prolonged grief, which is widely considered one of the most challenging human emotions to deal with. In this context, I was intrigued to delve into the topic of prolonged grief, where the pain and sorrow persist even after a significant time has elapsed. While grief is a complex subject to bring forward in a film, I wanted to put the intricate complexities of grief--the isolation, and loneliness in the forefront and the science fiction in the background.
