Filmmaker Statement

“Let Travel Do What Travel Does” is perhaps the first of its genre, a brandless commercial hidden within a short film, hidden within an unfinished commercial. Let us explain. The film is the result of a common occurrence within advertising – a commercial that is killed during the final stretch of finishing. It happens. A director––in this case, Love Song’s Elliott Power–––pours their heart and soul into a piece of work…then something beyond their control suddenly changes, and the project never sees the light of day.
