We really want this short to live as its own container but at the same time leave a wide pathway into a universe with a set of ideas that excite us. We built this universe for our main characters, Gwen and Tim, in an effort to create a genuine moment of crisis that plays against a sci-fi backdrop. Hopefully the film leaves you ready to run off the roof and follow the characters, chasing after a problem that has gone from theoretical to happening NOW. The final shot, tilting up into the sky, takes us from this contained discussion of “what if” to the wide open possibility of “what now?”
