Filmmaker Statement

I decided to direct this short film ‘LIMITLESS’ because I have always been impressed by the symbiosis between humans and animals, especially the predator instinct also present in the human being. The internal motivation to achieve personal goals is the engine that drives every human being. The idea of representing this ‘inner fire’ and in this case the personal ambition in images through a short film was both inspiring and exciting at the same time. It was important to me the images express these human feelings of becoming successful and achieving goals. With the combination of real wolves, epic music, camera work, film editing and a well-known motivational speaker, I wanted to involve the viewers using all their senses and give them the feeling of being able to identify with this person and ignite the motivation to achieve all their goals. The idea became reality when my crew and I had the opportunity to meet the real wolves and experience their mentality.
