John Hawkes, Nikki and I wanted to make a music video that felt more like a film, and explore the themes of loneliness and toxic relationships in a visual way. What it feels like to be in a relationship that you can't escape, the feeling of loneliness when you're with the wrong person, questioning why we go back and forth with a partner even when we know it's not the best choice. I'm fascinated by the many layers of relationships and wanted to explore toxicity in this mini film.
