Hello world, My name is Michael Day and I am a combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps. I made this short for those who have lost a military member. My hope is that it starts a dialog around the idea of when it is acceptable to move on from a loss and what that process might look like. The film is crafted for the veteran, active duty member, and civilian. Each experiences their own form of trauma with loss. Each story is of importance. I chose to tell the story from the perspective of a family member, which is typically a subplot, not the central theme in a military related film.
