This project was borne out of a confluence multiple ambitions: to make an explicitly experimental short film (along the lines of Michael Snow and Bruce Baillie), to make a film with an analog camera and to use dialogue as more than just an exposition device. I learnt how to use the 16mm bolex camera, which only lets you shoot relatively short takes. During the period while I was learning the bolex, I watched Michael Snow's "Wavelength" which was were the initial idea of just filming a window came from. From there, it organically grew into what is now "Meier's window".
