Filmmaker Statement

With the apps and the platforms, communication with other people has never been easier. Ironically, however, forming and maintaining meaningful relationships has become a challenge for many people. Our main protagonist Kacie is someone who helps the lonely, but in fact, she is the loneliest of them all. I wanted to tell a story that embodies not only the characters’ isolation, but their desperate desire for connection as well.
