Filmmaker Statement

I tried to experiment with creating a typical old school girl room in Unreal Engine, and making a film about a grown woman visiting this place in her dream. I aimed to showcase how the technology in her dream, like her computer, actually gives the dream a more nightmarish feeling. A contradiction as I try to make use of the newest technology to create this dream and at the same time depict the technology in her dream as 'scary'. This is my perception of our current age, were we have an endless amount of tools to make beautiful art, but at the same time have nostalgic feelings to the 'simpler' times.
