"The idea for this short film came from a training I attended at the multinational company where I worked before making the leap to audiovisual production. In that training I was able to learn about the work of a professional negotiator of the national police. The truth is that I was completely unaware of the work of a professional negotiator, but when he told us about all the cases of kidnappings with hostages and critical negotiations of high voltage, it made a strong impression on me. He talked about techniques such as empathy, active listening, always seeking to understand the other party first before making yourself understood, mirroing, labeling, and a lot of other tactics that seemed too simple to have that impact. Well this is one of those stories based on real cases and real anonymous people who have saved hundreds of lives even on those bad days, on those days that one could call "the worst day of your life". I hope you enjoy it.
