Xiang-Pu Zhu's artistic journey began in his youth, performing puppetry with his father's theater troupe. With a lifelong passion for drawing, he eventually left home to study animation and film, graduating from the Department of Digital Media Design at the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology. After nearly a decade of working in Taipei, he transitioned into advertising directing. In 2015, his father Qing-gui Zhu passed away from cancer. Xiang-Pu Zhu decided to return home to manage the theater troupe, initiating a transformative period. In recent years, they have introduced innovative puppetry works, such as those integrating projection mapping art, and the puppetry film "NoNameBlade."
