Whilst Nostalgia Now™ was created for high school, it was also created as the culmination of my thoughts and feelings about childhood and moving on. A new chapter of my life outside of high school education starts next year, and the concepts behind Nostalgia Now™ continue to juxtapose my own desires to go back to the past with my understanding that we've got to 'keep living' for change to occur. For Frank in the short film, this idea is encapsulated by grief and the functioning of the future, which undoubtedly is a bit more of a dystopian take on the topic.
