I made this film to remind myself why I make things. Which is, short version, to make things with my friends. Long version; I moved to Memphis in 2019 to Co-Showrun a doc-series for Springhill Entertainment and ESPN. It was a bit of a shit show and on the other side of it all I felt silly for turning my love of making "elevated home videos" into a game of chasing production size. My "plan" was to always wrap up The Harder Way and then help my friend Matthew launch the vehicle awning he had invented in April 2020. I could have never known what a wild ride I was about to go on.
